OUR STORY
The association promotes Francophone education and culture in the South Rockies.
Established in 2012 in Fernie by parents who wanted a Francophone school in the area, the AFRoS promptly added EDUCATIONAL activities to its mission with the creation of its youth program “Les Tiguidous,” and later the “Club Baguette.” Last year, following a community survey and study, it created a new program for adults to better meet the needs of the community.
The organization also acts as a liaison between local and provincial Francophone activities.
The most important thing to remember is that it represents Francophiles as well as Francophones!
